If you are like me, you are still in the process of sorting through your 8:8 Lion’s Gate experience. One of the messages I received during my personal Lion’s Gate experience was:
What you focus on remains in your realm of creation.
So, I thought I’d share my thoughts as I integrate this information and shift my attention to include more of what I want to be, do, and have.
Why Is Focus/Attention So Important?
Let’s look at the photo I included in this post, because it so aptly illustrates how we perceive reality. Imagine that the lady’s hands and fingers are what she focuses on. The rectangle between her hands is all she can see, hear, taste, smell, and touch. That is her realm of creation because she can only experience those circumstances she can perceive.
So, What’s the Problem?
If she’s happy living that life, then, of course, she could choose to desire and easily actualize more. It’s always easier to ask for and receive more, when you are in positive emotions because there is little resistance to the process of manifestation. That’s what teachers and guides mean when they describe the state of, “allowing.” It’s kind of like, “I really like this, so I’m going to allow more of it.” When you allow, the energy aligns and flows well. Then, the Infinite moving people, places, and resources to you is easy.
But, what if she isn’t satisfied with this experience? What if she is unhappy or resists looking at what is (what she’s created within these boundaries so far) or constantly complains about or blames someone else for her lot in life? What would smooth that process?
It’s been my experience that changing your circumstances is as easy as changing your mind and, therefore, where you place your attention. That’s why I’m a huge believer in making treasure maps and journaling about your ideal day, as a fun way to change your focus and, therefore, your outcomes. I’ve linked to two articles I’ve written, if you need a place to start changing your focus.
Changing the Focus of My Twitter Content
I thought you might enjoy hearing how I’m applying the message about focus to my life. I have a guilty secret – I like to play “mean girl” on Twitter, as a way to express frustration and anger. I’m 68 years old, and I grew up in a very patriotic environment (My Dad and Uncles, who were first generation Americans, had just come back a few years earlier from WWII and the Korean War.). I love my country and have been raised to honor the Flag, Anthem, Pledge, and Constitution. Almost everyone my age was brought up the same way. So, I still have quite a few judgments, conditions, and programs about what it means to be an American. That is why I resisted so much of what I observed around me.
What I realized after my 8:8 meditation is that by venting on Twitter, I have limited what I can create in all areas of my life because I had such set opinions. Reality had no choice but to conform to my conditions and continue to show me how limiting they are. So, the more I focused on what felt frustrating, the more I saw what frustrated me and the less time and energy I had to switch my attention and create something different.
It was very interesting that my God Self didn’t judge my behavior at all. She didn’t shame me for being a “mean girl” on Twitter. She just suggested that if I want to be, do, and have more time, energy, and resources to create my best life, shifting the amount of time I spent and what I shared on Twitter was key.
What You Can Do
If you find yourself in a situation like me where you have fixed opinions or strong judgments and you feel stuck in certain areas of your life, the best thing you can do to open up the field of creation is to ask this question out loud:
How can I feel better?
Don’t expect an answer. Just keep asking the question and notice as your body starts releasing tension. (Think of this process as the lady in the picture moving her hands further away from each other and allowing more of the big picture to be revealed.)
When you aren’t so constricted, then you can more easily refocus on what would feel better to you in any aspect of your creation. It doesn’t have to be on topic (For example, you might be upset because your child skipped curfew and didn’t phone in. But, your refocus can be about growing pansies in your flower pots, as long as you feel better when you imagine that circumstance.).
Also, Archangel Michael, our team, and I are returning to sharing and coaching. We are about to support a small group of people learning how natural law works in our universe and how to work with Nature to create more of what you want to be, do, and have.
