Are Your Guides Real or Imposters? - Transcendent Journey

Watching the polarity play in our country is very educational. For example, have you ever noticed that both sides of the political dispute are broadcasting nearly identical information? “Your guy is the Great Satan.” “No, my guy is a savior, and your guy is the Great Satan.” It’s hard to understand how these polarity statements can exist in the same space until you are willing to look at who gave them the information and what purpose the information serves. That is why I am urging you to pay particular attention to your discernment process. Be courageous. Ask yourself the hard question, “Are my guides real or imposters?”

Why Discernment Is So Important Now

As we continue to move through these times of chaotic change, truthful sources of information are hard to find. In fact, some coaches think that they might even dry up for awhile at some point in the future. Of course, you have your own non-physical/unseen guidance systems which you contact through prayer, meditation, contemplation in nature, etc. But, you must be able to sort through the messages and find those nuggets of gold – the truth that will serve your highest and best good.

When I First Noticed the Problem of Real or Imposters

When I started asking questions about the poverty most spiritual helpers experienced, the quest led me to look at who the helpers were listening to and what they heard. What I realized the more I questioned and looked is that one of the reasons why it has been so difficult for “spiritual“ people to make enough money to live a life of abundance and role model the value of their teachings is that until recently there has been interference with the guidance that some receive. Think of it in this way, imposter guides who are very close in frequency to your true guides (who are benevolent, life affirming, and serve the highest and best for all concerned) have been interfering with the information that is being shared from non-physical. That is why many healers successfully helped thousands while they lived meager lives.

How Do I Know I’m Receiving Truth?

Personally, I find that there are simple instructions in many of the ancient teachings and writings that can help with this problem. Jesus talked about discernment in this way:

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruit. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Matthew 7:15-20

Our indigenous brothers and sisters have a simple way of stating this, “ does this teaching grow corn?” So, when you reflect on the guidance you are given, simply consider “the fruit from the tree.“ If the fruit from the tree is sour, doesn’t produce consistent results or only the especially gifted can produce results with the fruit, or is rotten in character, you can be sure that the guidance is filtered through an imposter. If the fruit from the tree is sweet, produces consistent results for everyone, and is fresh and good in character, then you can be sure the guidance is coming from a bona fide source that serves the highest and best for all concerned.

Simple Tips If You Are Contacted by a Non-Physical Being

Another handy discernment tool is to ask any guide that contacts you three times, “Who are you?” It is universal law that the being must give you its truthful name the third time you ask. A good rule of thumb is if the guide answers with exactly the same words all three times and you feel aligned with having the conversation, then you can begin your exchange with some confidence. If the “voice” argues or insults you for asking the question, then consider that this one does not have your best interests at heart.

Your Secret Power: Connecting with Your God Self

Cameron Day’s work was a catalyst for me to come to a more empowered place. His post, Why I Am No Longer a Light Worker, opened my eyes. That is why I concentrate on strengthening my relationship with my God Self more than any other practice I use. For me, she is the one resource that knows my past, present, future, and alternative realities and has the most relevant information for me. She will always have my highest and best in mind and will communicate with me in any way that I allow. Since she is already connected to Source and me, I don’t have to deal with the question of whether my guides are real or imposters on a daily basis any more.
