What Do You Do When You Need
Healing and Have No Money?
A few weeks ago a friend of mine was in tears because she needed supplements and didn’t have the money to buy them. Since she is doing food and supplement healing for a serious chronic health condition, it’s a real big deal for her. Believe me, I understand how she feels. I was electrocuted in 1999, after spending over 10 years giving away my work. I had no money for hospitals, medicine, supplements, healing foods, or anything else. After spending hours and hours in the ER at one of the “poor people’s hospitals,” I felt abandoned and unsupported.
That’s when I took stock of my situation and asked myself, “What can I do to help myself that I know works and either costs nothing or already is paid for?” Here is the first idea that bubbled up for me and is an effective healing tool almost anyone can access. If you are reading this, you probably have a need to create your own tailor-made healing support tool. So, I am going to share the “how to” of this process not the “why it works.” If you want to know more about why it works, follow the research of people like Dr. Masaru Emoto. Need Healing and Have No Money?
Solution: Make Your Own Vibrational Medicine
Underneath all effective healing tools is the notion that if your body is given appropriate support, it has the capacity to self-heal. What you eat and drink, the medicine or supplements you take at their root are shifting your vibrations/frequency/energy so that your body has better energy resources to do its job of self-healing. This isn’t a new thought. Scientists and doctors have been talking about calories from your food turning into usable energy for your body for decades.
So, if you don’t have the money to purchase the foods, medicines, and supplements you believe will support your body’s self-healing, then use what you do have. Charge water with the vibrations/energy/frequencies that will support your body on its healing journey. In fact, this process is thousands of years old. Praying over water to raise it to the status of “holy water” is an integral part of spiritual practices from ancient times to today.
How to Charge Water with Healing Support
Here are the tools you will need to make your own holy healing water:
- A clean glass container with a lid – Mason jars work great, recycled glass jars with lids (if they are sterilized in the dishwasher or on the stove), a glass bowl with a clear plastic wrap covering, a drinking glass with a clear plastic wrap covering
- Distilled or Reverse Osmosis Water – or the best water you have. I do not use tap water, but if that is all you have, use it.
- Yellow Sticky, Sticky Canning Label, Piece of Paper with Tape
- Journal/Notebook
- Pen/Pencil
Here is the process you can use to create your own sacred encounter with the healing power of water:
- Prepare for your sacred encounter with water. Preparation might include smudging yourself, the glass container, lid, labels, pen, and the room you are working in; taking a shower with the thought that you are releasing all low frequency or interfering energies and thoughts; blessing your space and body and declaring that they are sacred. Preparation is an acknowledgement of your connection with Divine and with all of Creation. Think of your preparation as creating the container in which holy vibrations will move to charge your water. You want the best container you can possibly create for your holy healing water. So, you might even want to decorate the space you are working in, if you feel up to it.
Since I am a practicing member of a Native American Lineage, I do a ritual cleansing bath; either literally or imaginally draw a circle around my working space and seal myself in that space; acknowledge the sacredness of the space by adding candles, incense, a shell, and flowers or a stone to the table I’m working on to represents the sacred elements; and smudge the space and tools I’m working with.
- What do you want medicine to do for you? What medicine do you want to duplicate? Do you want to add a specific supplement to your regime? Do you want to work with certain herbs or foods? Is your goal freedom from pain? What do you want healed? Write down in your journal or notebook exactly what you want the spiritual medicine to do for you. Then, distill that desire into a phrase or name that you can put on the label. Feel free to play with this and then write the name of your holy water on the label. Stick the label on the glass container.
For example one day when I was feeling generally punky, I had no specifics about why I felt out of center. I just knew I was experiencing reality through a very distorted perspective. So, I wrote about how the distortion manifested in great detail in my journal and decided to make a brew of holy water. Once I was clear what I wanted the water to do to support me, I called it, “Distortion Be Gone.”
- Fill the glass container with water and pray over the water. Personally, I put both hands, palms down, over the water, and chant the Medicine Buddha Sadhana. But, you can dance around your sacred circle celebrating the water, sing or chant to the water, write a poem to the water; paint or draw a symbol of the water working. The more creative you allow yourself to be when blessing the water, the more flow you will feel.
- When you feel complete with the blessing, do a prayer of gratitude for water, for spiritual medicine, for everything that lives and flows from water in whatever way feels joyful to you.
- I have a little glass table on my deck where I let my holy water rest for a few days in sunlight and moonlight. But, that’s really not necessary. Essentially, the moment you complete your blessing, the water is ready to use.
How to Use the Holy Healing Water
First, the holy healing water is considered a mother essence. That means you add the water to drinks or baths, using your intuition as to how much (usually less than 1/4 cup in the case of a bath and in the case of drinks sometimes only drops). You then top up the jar with more distilled, reverse osmosis, or other water. It’s a perpetual “medicine” making process.
Also, you can use the water in a small spray bottle. If there is any specific area with pain, rash, or something you are working on, put some of the holy healing water in the spray bottle and spray it on the targeted area. For example, in the case of using Distortion Be Gone, I used it as drops under my tongue and sprayed areas in my energy field that felt sticky to me.
Add the holy healing water to your foot baths or other detox baths.
Add the holy healing water to flower essences, perfumes, teas.
Be creative with your use of your holy healing water. Let inspiration come to you and allow the flow of water to support your body unblocking stuck energy and flowing in higher frequencies.

Of course, I’m not a doctor. So, I’m not diagnosing your illness or prescribing medicine. That is best left to a medical professional, and I highly recommend that you at least get a diagnosis as a baseline from a licensed medical professional as soon as you can afford to do so.
Since I am a licensed minister with a healing focus, I can use the words, “heal” and “medicine” in the context of this article. But, please realize that I’m speaking of spiritual healing and spiritual medicine, from a vibrational perspective, and not allopathic medicine.
