Renouncing Spiritual Codependency

Beloved Children of the Divine,

Cosmic Forces are aligning and continue to push Divine’s children toward authenticity and self-empowerment. At times it is not a particularly easy or comfortable journey, since much of mankind was born during the Age of Pisces and carries conditioning that encourages control of the many by a few in order to insure survival of the elite. Breaking free of the cultural, familial, and religious reinforcement of these programs requires commitment, dedication, and courage. It requires you to leave the safe confines of the pack, deny the call of the leader to return, and strike out on your own as the choice maker of your own individual reality.

Codependency in the Age of Pisces

So, let’s discuss the Age of Pisces and the codependency theme that is the foundation for the rules of conditioning mankind is resolving as the Earth moves into the Age of Aquarius. Life in the Piscean Age was an exploration of how power is maintained through groups/tribes, based on the concept that the fittest humans deserved to survive and everyone else is expendable. It was an Age fraught with codependency – seemingly powerless out-groups were persecuted by a more powerful in-group. The persecuted looked for a rescuer to bring them out of suffering, as they believed that as a group they were doomed to remain victims. The most famous example of the codependency triangle in the Piscean Age was the persecution of the Israelites (victims) by the Romans (persecutors) who were looking for a Messiah (rescuer) to vanquish the Romans and release them from suffering.

The Spiritualization of Codependency

As we know, Jesus came on to the scene and was framed as that rescuer by many of his followers. He was put to death by the Roman persecutors out of fear of his popularity but experienced resurrection of his body and ascension into heaven, demonstrating to all victims, that freedom from being stuck in the power plays of a codependency triangle solely depends on an individual becoming completely authentic and self-empowered. Unfortunately, after his ascension, Jesus’s demonstration of personal power and the teachings that flowed from it were subsumed into the doctrine of the Catholic Church, after the Bible was altered during the Council of Nicaea, when the Roman empire completed its sublimation into the Roman Catholic religious hierarchy.

So, instead of the church maintaining a focus on the resurrecti0n and ascension where every human is fully capable of “this too and more,” what humans have been fed is a spiritual recapitulation of the codependency triangle. Mankind is too broken, powerless, and ignorant to personally connect with Divine and self-empower through this connection, leaving them victims. The Church and the Governments who support the Church are the appropriate caretakers of the herd and in order to protect the herd have the right to persecute dissenters. But, the good news is sometime in the future, you will either die or ascend and go to heaven, through the intercession of Jesus, the rescuer. This perversion of Jesus’s acts and teachings and the focus on his blood as the magickal solution to suffering is at the heart of the spiritual codependency that is rampant throughout religious and spiritual groups.

Think about how you decide to work with a client. Let’s say you are an amazingly gifted healer whose clients come from far and wide because of your results, but unfortunately, you almost never choose to take care of your needs because your clients are broke by the time they get to you, the healer of last resort. So, when the treatment begins, you are both in a less than powerful position — you are broke, not able to care for yourself properly, because you don’t put taking care of yourself as a priority; you and your client believe that he/she can’t heal their body and has to find someone else to do their healing. Is it no wonder that over time neither one of your bodies experience ease, comfort, and wellness long term? How do you justify living in this less than who I am position? You repeat platitudes taught to you by your mentors –” this is the Divine Plan; God will take care of you; It’s too bad the person God sent to help you made a free will choice not to show up; you get your rock bottom needs met eventually, why complain?” This line of thinking, told to you by people you respect that you feel have your best interests at heart, is only continuing the conditioning of the original persecutors.

If you understood what healing is really about — and some do — you would never come at a client from a less than perfect position and you would never tell a client that they were less than perfect and needed you to do their work. Do you understand that when you create this kind of vacuum, the energy and lessons your client is capable of learning, but chooses not to, backup and flow into your field? If you do not believe this is so, then why do you think John of God has an energy battery of meditators to balance the energy and lessons of his clients while he is working with them? Why do you think rinpoches, lamas, and monks all over the world pray for the Dalai Lama’s long life? Even helpers of this caliber who consciously work in the old spiritually codependent paradigm totally are aware that service and group prayer must balance out the less than positions.

Coming into the Aquarian Age of Self-Empowerment

As many are aware, in the new energy configurations, the old model rapidly is falling apart. Bankers and politicians are being arrested for financial wrongdoing; secrets about governments spying on their people are being revealed; like-minded people, such as the anti-GMO activists, are out on the street actively seeking a new way of producing real food where every living thing is valued and supported. This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius, and as the chaotic node of change moves through your world, that which no longer serves your self-empowerment will fall away. What come after is better for you, your family, your community, and your world than anything you have experienced before.

How Can I Become
More Self-Empowered?

Moving with the energies of change is fairly simple. You go with the flow. Identify what isn’t working for you and let go with as much grace as you can. Remember, your world is governed by natural law. Nature abhors a vacuum. The space vacated by what is not working will be filled. If you have preferences, state them out loud to Divine.

So, what does going with the flow feel like? Flow was very nicely described by the Chuck Pyle, the Zen Cowboy,

Ride a horse in the direction it’s going.

If you ride a horse in the direction it’s going, there’s freedom of movement, ease, the joy of the wind blowing through your hair. That’s what flow feels like.

Once you are in the flow of Divine energy, it will be easier for you to make choices that are more authentic to who you are just by asking, “Which of these choices feels better?” The choices that feel good to you are authentic for you. Authentic choices actualize easily and effortlessly.
